Privacy Policy
This policy describes what personal information Scribe Report collects through scribereport.com, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Content you upload. Recordings, transcript text, notes, and case details you submit for transcription or report generation. This content may contain personal information about you or others; you are responsible for having the right to process it.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and transaction records, not full card numbers.
- Usage information. Log data such as timestamps, job status, approximate location derived from IP address, and basic device information, used to operate and secure the service and to enforce free-tier limits.
How we use information
- To provide the service: transcribing recordings, generating reports, storing your encrypted documents, and managing your account.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions and credits.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not use your recordings, transcripts, or reports to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.
Who processes your information
We use service providers to operate INSIGHT: cloud hosting and content delivery, a managed database and authentication provider, cloud transcription and AI report-generation providers (which process recording audio and shielded transcript text under API terms that do not permit training on your data), and Stripe for payments. Each provider processes data only to deliver its function.
Retention
Stored reports remain in your encrypted account storage until you delete them. Account records are kept while your account is active. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices and rights
- You can delete reports from your account at any time.
- You can request account deletion or a copy of your account data by emailing [email protected].
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, such as access, correction, and deletion. We honor verified requests.
Children
The service is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change on this page.
